Busy busy busy…

So it has been 3 months since my last blog post. Wow has it been busy. With one month to go, my final project “Periodic Fable” is at a remarkable point. Working primarily with the UI art, level design, and level asset creation I have spent the past few months improving these aspects of the game. With just one month left, I am busy with work but finding more time to relax during the project. This may be because that there is light at the end of the tunnel and I no longer need to spend the 6+ hours on it every night after my 9+ hour job. If only I could find a way to get paid to build games… but then again, it isn’t so much the pay as the output. The pay is necessary for survival, while the passion for creating games strives on its own; the strive to create new experiences and lasting memories that can be retold on every medium. That, for me, is a very important factor for designing video games.
